My experience building a strong foundation in programming through Programming Advices, and how learning the fundamentals shaped my approach to problem-solving and software development.
One of the most valuable decisions I made in my programming journey was investing in strong fundamentals before moving into modern technologies and frameworks.
Through Programming Advices, under the guidance of Dr. Mohammed Abu-Hadhoud, I developed a solid foundation in C++, Algorithms & Problem Solving, Object-Oriented Programming, Data Structures, Debugging, Clean Code, C#, and Databases.
Along the way, I solved over 400 programming problems and built several practical projects, strengthening my logical thinking and ability to approach problems systematically.
What I appreciated most about Dr. Abu-Hadhoud's teaching approach was his emphasis on understanding concepts rather than memorizing solutions. His guidance also extended beyond programming into personal development, time management, and effective learning.
As I moved into technologies such as React, Next.js, and Node.js, I began to appreciate how valuable those fundamentals were in understanding new concepts.
I'm grateful to Dr. Mohammed Abu-Hadhoud and Programming Advices for being an important part of my learning journey.
Technologies change, but strong fundamentals remain valuable.
